Adamello Brenta Nature Park
This is the largest park in the Trento area. It can be reached from Val di Non, Val di Sole, Val Rendena, Val Giudicarie, Molveno and Andalo.
It is studded with 51 lakes, almost all of them of a glacial origin, the most well-known being the Tovel lake. Among the local animal species a special role is played by the brown bear, now well established in the park territory.
The Adamello Brenta Nature Park was founded in 1967 and enlarged in 1987. In 1988 the Park corporation was constituted. The main office and the administrative department are both at Strembo (TN) in Via Nazionale, 12. Tel. 0039 0465 806666, Fax. 0039 0465 806699
