The historic centre of Molveno, with its typical Alpine aspect, is the ideal place to pass a lazy afternoon window shopping and getting to know the local specialities on offer. A variety of shops, bars, ice cream parlours, pizzerias and restaurants offer their guests a friendly and unobstrusive service.
The centre, from Via Cesare Battisti to Piazza S.Carlo is closed to traffic from 10am to noon, from 5pm. to 7 pm. and from 8 pm. to 11 pm. The Scuole car park is reachable from Via Nazionale (max 2 hrs) and the Valbinaghe car park ( no time limit) is reachable from Piazza Marconi and Via Paganella or Via Lungolago. Both car parks are free of charge.
When the centre is closed to traffic, the Valbinaghe car park can only be reached from Via Garibaldi. The communal management and Molveno Holiday would like to remember that there is a free urban bus service which also covers the historic centre. The town hall, doctor’s surgery, chemist, post office, tourist information office and Molveno Holiday are all situated in Piazza Marconi.
