The Lido of Molveno or, how nice it is to lie in the sun on the meadow of the lake shore
10 hectares of green lawns stretch around the beaches of this great blue lake. An oasis of happiness, where the only noises that can be perceived are the voices of children playing, the cheers of enthusiasm around the bowls court, the excitement at the beach volley matches, the splash of water as someone dives into the swimming pool, the wind blowing into the sails of the windsurfs, the sound of oars as they slowly hit the water……..have you got the picture? Here at Molveno there’s a lot of space for walking, for playing, for sun bathing, for reading, for practising a wide range of sports. There are also many ways of enjoying oneself with old friends and with new ones met perhaps here at Molveno thanks to our entertainers who love to get people involved in games and all sorts of fun for kids as well as grown ups!. All this and more takes place in a picture post card village at the foot of the breath taking Brenta Dolomites and the green woods of the Paganella which, in the mornings, turn the blue waters of the lake into a vibrant green.
These are some of the reasons why Molveno and its lake and its beaches is considered by many to be a successful half measure and an unexpected alternative, for all those who love to go to the mountains but don’t want to abandon the sea. Try it to believe it!!
