Bear Park at Spormaggiore
Bears and more
The faunistic area of Spormaggiore, home to the brown alpine bear, is only 12 kms. from Molveno. This area ( 7000 sq mts) reproduces the bear’s natural habitat thanks to the presence of firs, larches, beech, bushes and even a rivulet. At the moment the area is populated by female bears. The easiest way to arrive here is from Belfort castel, ss 421- km 7, where it is possible to park the car. There is a bus service from the villages of the Pagnella plateau to Spormaggiore and Belfort castel. If, on the other hand, you like walking, you can reach Spormaggiore from Andalo, Selva Piana, by following the Sporeggio rivulet. The track is also suitable for mountain bikes and it really is worth the effort!
Entrance tickets to the bear park cost Euro 2.50 adults and Euro 1.50 children.
